Videocites was founded in 2014 with the mission to develop a new generation of search engines that would revolutionize the visual media ecosystem through effective, AI-powered, video-by-video search. Namely, highly advanced search where the query is built from the visual information that resides in the video frames themselves.

A few years later, Videocites introduced Discover, a cross-platform video copyrights protection and management system that provides an end-to-end solution for content owners around the globe. Since then, Videocites has expanded its offering to four product families serving the needs of global companies in vibrant verticals such as Media and Entertainment, Sports, Advertising, Cybersecurity, Smart Devices and others. To complement its online search products, Videocites maintains a video fingerprint database representing all the video content on social and video platforms at any given time. This effort aligns with Videocites’ vision to index all video frames worldwide, generating the Video Genome.

The company was founded by dedicated entrepreneurs and renowned computer vision experts.
